“What is the special thing that makes the outcome of each of the three plotlines different?"

    Run Lola Run is a german movie premiered in 1998. The director Tom Tywker tells the story of a young couple that is involved in a mafia conflict in which they have only 20 minutes to solve a 100,000 deutschmarks and deliver them to the mafia chief. Suspense is the permanent emotion the spectator has during the film. From the very beginning the animated introduction to the movie is full of colors, face expressions and dynamic graphics that cause tension and a rush feeling in the watcher. Every short story that constitutes this long movie is full of suspense situations that takes the watcher to the extreme of an adrenaline rush because of the speed the story is being told.

    Even when the whole story is based on a 20 minutes trip and adventure to save Lola’s boyfriend life, there are many climatic and turning points that make each of the three stories different and unique. Many elements give cohesion to the whole story:  first the main problem that has been described before, second the people Lola sees every time she runs, third, the time in which the trouble should be solved , fourth the main characters of the story (Lola and Many) and finally the visions. The whole visions Lola has during the movie and the reflections she makes are key points to understand the movie because based on those reflections and foreshadowing the denouement of the story will be determined. There are many elements that repeat in each story but the development of each is different every time we see the story again.

    There are three short stories inside the movie. Every story is different and has key elements or actions that makes the story change and there for the possibility of achieving the goal or solving the threat changes. One of the elements that make the story jump from failing the mission to achieving the goal is Lola´s decisions of what is worth of consideration and time investment and what is not. During her first trip, Lola decides to run super fast and she did pay attention to some distractions but all the time she spends with his father’s explanations and being clam just to take her out the bank and offend her is crucial for her to arrive before his boyfriend rob the supermarket. In the second trip, Lola decides to ask the ambulance to take her to where her boyfriend is and waste some time doing that. The few seconds in which the ambulance denies to take her and the crash of the glass are crucial moments to make the ambulance intercept Manny while he is crossing the street making the mission not being accomplished.

   

    During the third short movie, time, observations and decisions are crucial t to the story. Lola realizes that the polite way of making things is not working and decides to change her manners. She do not even crash with people (like she did before with the lady and the baby) and she decides just to run and get what she wants and not to think about how to get it. Suddenly she realizes of a way out of her problem but she needed more than just to open her eyes actually a bus that is about to run over her seems to be the shook she needed to wake up. She observes, watch a casino and decide to get money from there. She is not longer submitted she knows what she wants and would not accept a not for answer. In this third short story Lola speaks up her mind and that is a determinant factor too, because it made the guy with the bicycle help the homeless man who stole the money bag. Manny also observes and watch the homeless man who stole his bag with money and decides to catch him. Everything turns right and Lola and Manny even end the story with 100,000 deutschmarks extra.

    As a conclusion spectators can suppose that determination, observation and time management are the main key elements that make the plotline of the three stories different and exciting. Every time that Lola do something different something changes but the very main changes occur when she decides to observe, speak up, get what she needs without asking for it and being determined to  get it. She started to focus on her objective and not in the medium for making it real. At the end what is really important to make Lola’s goal possible was to focus, observe, think and decide to do something, mainly DECISIONS or CHOISES are what make things be different from one occasion to another. It might sound bad but in the case of an emergency, in the movie at least, taking a chance on being rude and neither thinking nor wasting time on guessing what the others could think is what really worked for Lola.

Back to the Future is an iconic science fiction movie filmed during the 80’s decade. It was realized into movie theatres in 1985 and since then it has been collecting fans all over the world, most of them from pop-culture. On its first edition the story starts in the year of 1985 and it characters travel through time helped by the DeLorean a time machine which was invented by the Dr. Emmet Brown. During its time in the past, Martiy McFly changes the past and risks its own future by not letting his parents meet so they would never get married and obviously he and his brother and sister won’t ever exist. For the time it was made, Back to the Future, has amazing visual effects even when there are not too many of them shown in the movie. One of the most representative scenes of this movie is the final race in which the DeLorean has to reach a thunder to have enough power to travel back to the future. During the scene, the visual effects have lot to do with the impact and the tension that viewers can see in that last action sequence. With the help of some gasoline, fireworks and a good illumination department work, the clock scene is one of the most amazing and tension scenes in the movie because the viewers don’t actually know if the characters will be able to go back to their own time and to their normal daily lives.

The story is the most important part of a movie. In the case of Back to the Future it is a science fiction story in which a young guy meets an old sort of mad scientific who has invented a very powerful time machine and since that encounter a bunch of adventures begins. The movie has been catalogued like a fantastic, adventure, comedy and science fiction film but it is still an Every One movie or a Parental Guidance movie. There is no much violence and not so many bad words in it; actually I think there are any bad words in it.  Even when there are not so many action scenes I like the fact that it remains being exciting.  Back to the Future is an example of how there can be exiting movies without being aggressive to the audience.  

To make a successful movie it is not only necessary to have a great story but it should have a great cast too, if it is not like that even the story would not be so great. Back to the Future has a great cast. Marti McFly, the protagonist, was played by the young and mostly unknown (for that time) actor Michael J. Fox.  It was not only a great performance what shoot Michael to stardom but it was also the great charisma and humility he and its character had. His participation on Back to the Future took Michael to be nominated for a Golden Globe award for the best actor on a comedy.  Christopher Lloyd played Dr.’s Emmet role. Dr. Emmet is the inventor of the DeLorean and will become the best friend and guide to Marti McFly. Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox were the perfect couple of actors to give life to a dynamic, funny and matchless friend’s couple that will never be forgotten by the audience.

Back to the Future is one of the best and timeless time traveling theme movies ever. It has been one of the most famous movies of the late 1980’s and currently it has a great amount of fans all over the world. It not only counts with a great cast, but also has amazing visual effects and a very good script. It is a reflection of how the imagination of a writer can take the audience to a parallel world, in this case a past or future world. The cast and the story make this movie one of the favorite movies of any kind of audiences because it is not so violent and the story keeps timeless. Even when currently there are more futuristic movies with better visual effects Back to the Future will always be remembered as a unique movie for the rest of the cinematographic history and in the fans hearts.

O si I love tom felton y muuucho, en mi proxima publicación...cuando no tenga que leer el libro de intro, hacer lo de semiotica, sentir mi dedo indice, medio y anular de la mano izquierad y luego de  sobrevivir a un dolor muscular corporal impresionante tras haber sido aplastada por muchas personas tras formarme en la alfombra roja de la caprapa neumática del hipódromo el pasado Jueves (si jueves y aún me duele y no siento tres dedos jaja) para ver a TOm FElton y tener  mi preciado libro de HPU7 autografíado, les platicaré más de toda la experiencia por lo pronto esas son las noticias WOOOOOW por cierto ya mencione que lo vi, me firmó mi libro  y todo? SEMANA DE EXÁMENES Y BUENA ONDA :D

Hola a todos,
Espero que todos estén muy bien y que estén preparándose para salir de puente o si no al menos si preparándose para el Lipdub de mañana a las 8:30 en la sala A del salón de congresos. Recibí un e-mail el día miércoles con la confirmación de que nos esperaban a otras 20 personas y a mi para comenzar el ensamble de este proyecto magnífico y enorme del que seguro estaremos muy orgullosos cuando quede totalmente terminado y podamos ser vistos "como nunca nos han visto". Así que ¡¡PREPARENCE!!
Cabe destacar que el día de mañana sale el starcamp YO QUIERO IR pero adivinen que ... no iré. Pero algo que no me perderé por nada será el cumpleaños del compañerito SUPER INTELIGENTE Don Ilizaliturri jaja. Pregúntenle a él que onda con su cumple y se enterarán jaja.
Quiero compartirles también que me ha gustado mucho todo lo que hemos estado haciendo esta semana, desde donar juguetes hasta terminar PARCIALES WOOOOHOOOO!!!
Esta semana ha pasado de todo: Se acabó Hannah Montana :( pero no importa la seguirán pasando. Se volvió a transmitir el final de la primera temporada, volumen 2 de Glee pero EL PROXIMO JUEVES 18 DE NOVIEMBRE A LAS 22:00 SE ESTRENA LA NUEVA TEMPORADA :D
El jueves...si, si, el jueves será un día memorable, estoy segura:
1.- Veremos Harry Potter y quizás a alguien de Harry Potter.
2.- Se estrena la nueva temporada de Glee.
3.- Es el último Jueves de Clases (YO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOO QUIERO QUE SE ACABE EL SEMESTRE...LO HE DISFRUTADO TANTO QUE NO QUIERO QUE SE ACABE, DEFINITIVAMENTE NO QUIEROOOO!!!
Por esos tres puntos y todo lo que se acumule quier que sea JUEVES!!!!
En fin, espero que sigan pendientes, vamos a ver A HARRY POTTER pero antes le llamamos para no caerle de sorpresa jajaja.

Hooola

Hola a todos, hoy fuí al Franz Mayer y me encontré con Mariana y Karime. Tengo muuucha tarea pero mmmmuuuuucccchhhhaaaa tarea entonces solo les contaré que vi unos biombos grandes y hermosos. Me gustó mucho que algunos de ellos tenían doble vista y sobre todo que aunque ya había ido al museo como tres veces antes nunca me había detenido a contemplarlos. Me gustó mucho la visita, ahora son alas 16:11 y tengo que estudiar psicología, hacer mi tarea de diseño, la investigación de los espectaculares, ver goya y la inquisición y sobre todo estudiar de todo dos materia, mate, psico, intro, progra, etc etc de todas las materias habidas y por haber jajaja y todo esto antes del lunes. Mañana habrá un maratón de Hannah Montana desde las 3:00 de la tarde y a las 07:00 habrá un episodio de estreno y cero que es el FINAL ooo Dios Mío, u.u no quiero que se acabe no nono u.u jaja. En fin me tengo que apurar porque quiero ver eso y si no se puede pues mínimo si quiero dormir jajaja. Me despido entonces deseandoles muy buenos parciales y un bonito fin de semana , disfrutenlo por mi jajajaja.
